Day 1
Took a flight from singapore to hongkong via jetstar ($398) Flight time was over 3hr 20mins due to short delay at the runway. Our arrival time at hongkong was delayed by 20mins. Reached hongkong about 8pm.

Arrival when ahead and collect my Airport express card (3 days unlimited MTR / 2 way train ride - bookin online is cheaper) At the station customer service booth next to the train door (i do remind you that their mandarin can be quite atrocious at times thankful i speak cantonese), While jon got his octopus card at the MTR booth just infront of the arrival door .

Took the AEL to Central Hongkong station (20mins) then transfer a free shuttle bus to the hotel. It pass by about 5 hotels before reaching to our hotel (excelsior in causeway bay). June who took the SQ flight arrived early had already eaten and was waiting at the hotel room with her friend nick. Once in hotel me and jon changed up and hit the street to the normal cafe "chan ting" for some food. After which came back hotel and with june /Nick we went to lan guai fang for some drinks at one of the irish pub.

We had breakfast at the diners and saw one of the shop philips security outlets , that where he pops in and ask afew question (need to check stock infor in singapore) Turns out they only have trading in HK. Walked a few street we check out a internet cafe so that he could check on the market.

Temperature was about 17 to 20 degree. Need to do some work so took the notebook down to look for a wifi hotspot turns out its at the shopping mall next to the hotel but the catch you have to purchase a prepaid card. While jon catches a nap, after while which he took over and access the internet.

Met up with june at prince edward station for dinner and then a shop around for some herbs. then desert egg pudding and zhi ma hu. After which we head straight down to Central station and to the top of the peak for a fantastic view of the HK CBD skyline.
